Gnarled Juniper

This was taken at The Wild Rose Ranch up near Potato Canyon in Northeastern Arizona. The late afternoon sun really helped to give the dead Juniper a nice warm feeling. The detail captured in the grain just blows me away. With so much to look at you can get lost for days in this picture.
