About Me

I’ve had a good life so far. I have my hair, my health, a beautiful wife of 19 years, and an incredible eight year old son. Yeah, life is good!

As a kid growing up in southern CA I wanted to draw cartoons for a living. My mom bought me a “how-to” book when I was about nine or ten. I sketched out every single drawing in that book. I think I still have some of those old drawings. When I was in junior high my dad took some photo classes at a local college, turning the front bathroom into a darkroom. It sparked an interest in me that didn’t materialize until some years later when I entered college and later my photography led me into graphic design.

I’ve worked as a B/W darkroom specialist for Warner Processing Labs in Santa Anna, CA, managed a photo lab in Upland, CA, been a partner in a photographic services business (CoylePhotoGraphics), worked as a paste-up artist (my first design job), a graphic designer, an art director for the Inland Empire Business Journal, a director of graphic services for Oak Tree Business Systems, and for the last 13 years I’ve been with U-Haul International as computer graphics manager. I’ve been blessed with the chance to do many different things and I am very grateful for each and every one. Where will my next adventure take me? I don’t know.

I do know, it starts now.
